Firelight Roof Project
Attention Firelight Chalet Building Owners and Residents,
The roof project will begin on April 6, 2026 for Phase 2 Chalets. We are excited to begin this much needed work, and would like to give you some important information regarding the construction process and what to expect from it. Please share this information with tenants, guests, and anyone else who will be on site during this construction process.
- Weekly project updates will be provided via email to owners and can be viewed anytime here.
- Other updates will be shared periodically during the project or as needed if changes occur.

What to Expect During Construction
- Preconstruction activities will include material truck deliveries to the designated staging areas, removal of gutters, and overall site setup.
- All materials for the roof construction will be lifted via forklift from the driveways of the units
- Occasionally, workers will access areas of the building from ladders
- During this process, expect. construction noise of nail guns, hammers, diesel equipment running, and other noises related to roof work.
- Upper level of units will especially hear pounding, hammering, and overall interrupting noises.
- Contractor will conduct daily jobsite cleanups.
Construction Staging Areas
- The contractor will have designated staging areas for materials, tools, equipment, dump trailers, and employee parking.
- It is imperative that residents do not block staging areas, no parking areas, and other contractor equipment.
- Vehicles that obstruct these areas are subject to fines and towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
- A port-a-potty will be on site for the use of contractor staff only.
Timeframe
- Construction will last for approximately 2-3 weeks per building, depending on weather. The crew will be working on multiple buildings simultaneously to keep the project on schedule.
- Construction hours are 7am to 9pm.
Safety
- Safety is priority during this project. Please observe and use caution when near construction areas.
- Avoiding areas marked off by cones, caution tape, or other construction signage at all times.
